So today is officially known in the Lange household as "Lets get this baby moving day". I am so ready to prod some sense into this kid and "encourage" him that joining the world is not such a bad place...I mean how could it be...it has a Mommy and a Daddy and grandparents all anxiously awaiting his arrival.
So thankfully Henry has the day off of work today. We went to breakfast together, which was really nice (Henry told me all about how he caught some teenager stealing CD's at work the other day) and now we are getting ready to go walk around the KoP (for those of you not from this area, that would be the King of Prussia) Mall. I am also trying to bribe Henry to get a Friendly's Ice Cream sundae while we are there as well. Walking is supposed to help induce labor... The ice cream is just because Friendly's has the best ice cream sundae's ever and I am craving one.
THEN after the mall we are going to the grocery store to pick up the making for Scalini's eggplant parmesean. As I referenced in an earlier post, something in this dish is "supposed" to send pregnant women into labor and Henry is going to make it for me for dinner tonight.
Henry thinks I am crazy and the scientist that he is keeps telling me that nothing I do to get this baby to come will work and that he will come when he is ready. I just really want to avoid a c-section if at all possible and would also like to not have a 9lb child (which is what the doctors have approximated if I go past my due date). I figure trying never hurts, right?
I started on Alex's baby scrapbook yesterday. I really like the way it is coming out, but feel I can't really DO much in it until he actually gets here. But I was able to put his ultrasound pictures in there, pictures of what I looked like at different stages of my pregnancy with him and am now working on the showers we had in his honor....
