Today was Girl's Day Out! I took a personal day from work to have one more day of relaxation and pampering before the baby comes. I started the day off by sleeping in until 9:00 AM and then having a relaxing breakfast. After breakfast and after getting ready, Mom and I headed to Longwood Gardens which is one of my favorite places near my house. It is a large botanical garden with a conservatory and lots of walking trails. We went at the best time as it was BEAUTIFUL out. It had rained earlier in the morning, but when we were there, it was blue skies and the weather was sooo warm. It was great. Not only did I get to see all these beautiful flowers, but I also got to try out my new digital camera! Henry had bought a new Canon for me for the baby and I took it with me to test it out. I LOVE IT. It takes the most amazing pictures!!!!
After walking around Longwood for a couple of hours, we headed to lunch at TGI Friday's. We had a nice lunch together and after lunch headed to get a pedicure. The pedicure was amazing. My ankles have been so swollen that it was so nice for soeone to massage my feet and get pampered for a few minutes. My feet are now ready for labor :))) After our pedicures, we headed to do some errands...WalMart and Sam's Club. We were going to go shopping at Michael's, but by the time we got to that point, both of us were soo tired (especially my poor back) we headed home.
On the way home, I stopped at McDonald's and treated myself to a choclate milkshake and am now relaxing in bed, watching day time TV with my dog beside me. The only thing that would make it better would be to have Henry here too, but he is at work right now. I plan on having a quiet night at home watching some good TV :)))
