8 Weeks Preggers Today!

Well, today marks the official 8 week mark of my pregnancy. My baby, according to books, is about the size of a kidney bean right now and is starting to develop its arms and legs, fingers and toes. The books also say that the baby starts moving around now, although I won't be able to feel the baby for a while longer and that I may start losing my waist line...

It has also been a month since Henry and I found out that we are expecting our new addition. In many cases, this month has been the longest and slowest month of my life. Finding out I was PG was fun, but then the waiting began...and those who know me really well, know waiting and I do not go hand in hand....

We had to wait 2 weeks for our first ultrasound...which doesn't seem like a long time, but when you are in it and waiting...it seems like forever and now we are in the 2 week countdown til our 10 week appointment where we will hear the baby's heartbeat!!!

Overall, I feel great! My morning sickness seems to have disappeared pretty much and my only symptoms are fatigue, increased urination, and a larger chest (which is nothing to complain about it my case). I feel guilty that I feel overall so well. You hear horror stories of women who have nausea all day everyday...I asked the doctor and he didn't seem that worried, so I won't be either. I haven't had any cramping or spotting, so I am taking that as a good sign so far that everything is OK in my tummy.
