So, I went to the doctors today and it is official...we have a baby in progress!!! I am approximately 4 weeks pregnant and the doctor says everything looks good so far! She did a pelvic exam and they took about 6 vials of blood to test for all sorts of things... The tests will also show what my levels of progesterone and HCG are and we can tell if the baby is moving right along as he/she should be.
I am going back in about two weeks for an ultrasound so the doctor can see specifically how far along I am and get a better idea of a due date. So exciting. We will also hopefully hear the baby's heart beat at that time too. Then its back to the doctor in August for another check up where they will measure my uterus and we can also hear the heart beat.
Some exciting times coming up!!!!!
