Our Backyard Drama

So as many of you know, about a month after we moved into our house, we had a main line blockage in our sewer pipe. The house hadn't been lived in for about a year prior to when we bought it, and the house is older, so to make a REALLY long story short we have to get the sewer pipe replaced.

Well, last week the plumbers came and started the process of replacing the sewer pipe..which was drama in and of itself. After completly tearing up our front yard and ripping up our sidewalk..they deduced that the sewer pipe is NOT in the front yard, but in the backyard. Now we have a mud pit in our front yard and soon to be mud pit for our backyard. The only saving grace is the fact that all my neighbors around us have had to have their sewer pipe replaced as well at some point....I guess we will be getting to our landscaping sooner than expected...

Still digging. This was the second hole they dug. They also had to replace my water line as they broke it in the digging.
