The Phillies won the World Series last night...the second championship for the Phillies...ever in their franchise history. The first was in 1980. 28 years ago in March I was born...28 years ago in October the Phillies won the world series. 8 months ago Alexander was born in March. Last night, in October, 8 months later, the Phillies won the World Series. Coincidence? I think not. Are we their lucky charms? Perhaps... But as my Dad pointed out...hopefully it won't take another 28 years for the Phillies to win the World Series again.
