Alexander and the Park

Last weekend Henry and I took Alex to the park. This was really the first time since Alex started walking that we took him and basically let him have the run of the place. I am not sure what I expected...half the time I feel that Alex is a shy soul who likes to cling to Mommy. However, that is not the son I have. As soon as the kids feet his the pavement he was off and Mommy and Daddy never sat down again. He LOVED the park. He loved walking on all the different textures of pavement, loved the swings, loved climbing on the jungle gyms (with help of course), loved the slide, and well..you get the drift. It was extra special because Uncle Graig and Aunt Kim also came with us and were able to spend some quality time with Alex at the park. I have never seen Alex so red or so sweaty before, but he still pitched a fit when it was time to leave. He did down about three cups of juice in the car though....

Here are some pictures from our adventure!
