Well, today was my 15 week checkup and my last appointment at my current OBGYN before we move up north!!! Really, there isn't much to report today...I fought rush hour traffic for about an hour for a 10 minute appointment. The coolest thing was hearing the baby's heartbeat again...it was so fast and so strong...it was great hearing it after our little drama last week with the accident. I guess things are going well!
I swear I have begun to feel the baby move. The first time was a week ago Sunday when I was just 14 weeks, I felt what felt light a light tap from the inside followed by a slight tingling sensation. Since then I have felt a few flutters and a few more things that feel like light tapping from inside. The doctor today said that he felt it was too early for me to feel movement, but I guess I will know for sure in a few weeks when the baby really starts to move.
I also feel like I am showing so much more than I was. I think I am at the point where people look at me they wonder if I am pregnant or just fat.....
It is hard to believe that I am over 15 weeks pregnant now....it seems like just yesterday I found out I was pregnant and now I am almost to the half way mark!!!!!
Yesterday was fun too. I went shopping with my friend Janice and we went shopping for maternity clothes (I have begun to grow out of my shirts). I was a bit discouraged at first because we went to Old Navy and I didn't find ANYTHING I liked. Then we went to a mall around town and it turned out that they had an Old Navy too...I went in and hit the jackpot! I bought a pair of jeans, two short sleeved shirts and four long sleeved shirts all for under $100. I think I am set as far as casual wear goes. I am very lucky and one of my friends Steph, gave me 4 bags of maternity clothes which will come in handy in the winter (her little boy was born in Feb) as most of them are sweaters, work shirts and pants, all of which I will need for work in the coming months....THANK YOU STEPH!
