Internals aren't always chosen

Well, found out through work today that I was not selected for a new position at my firm. Which shows you that internals aren't always chosen for new roles within their current employers.

However, I do have to say that I think that this happened for the best. If the job was offered, it would have been hard to pass down the amount of salary that they were offering and now I don't need to worry about that. Now Henry and I can focus our efforts to getting back up north to be closer to our family, which is what we want anyway. I can also focus more of my efforts on continuing to lose weight and take care of my Insulin Resistance/PCOS. The new job would probably have me working many hours and right now family is most important to me.

I have started talking to different individuals within my firm about relocating back up north and hopefully something will happen in the near future to enable Henry and I to move.

Another good thing happened to me today. I had a friend at work come up to me (who doesn't know anything about my medical condition) and ask me if I have been losing weight :)) She said that she can notice it!! Which means my diet, exercise and medication seems to be working! I weighed myself at the gym today and I am down 4 lbs....only 16 more to go!

We shall see what happens...stay tuned.
